"Needed a place to stay close to a relative and Placid Farm was perfect! Quiet and serene! I enjoyed evening walks around the property. Bed was very comfortable. Nice touches with the amenities. Host Jackie was wonderful to work with and was flexible when my schedule changed. Check in and checkout were super easy. Highly recommend!"

"We loved staying here! Ingrid, Buddy and I have stayed at hundreds of places over the years, and this is easily in the top three. Our gracious host Margaret was ready to respond quickly with any questions we had. We loved the floorplan. Ingrid cooked enchiladas in the kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable. What we loved most was all the land Buddy was able to explore off-leash. We sat on the porch drinking coffee with Buddy by our side enjoying the peace and quiet. We give this place all the stars out of all the stars. Thankfully, Brad, Ingrid, and Buddy"

"We stayed in 9 different hotels on our recent trip. This was the newest and most clean. STRONG SUGGESTION- Move the smoking urn and area from the front portico and door to a location far removed. As we got out of our car to unload luggage, a man was smoking nearby and the odor was very strong and offensive ( I recognize his right to smoke but found this odor uninviting to your hotel.)"

"The ice maker near the room is not functioning. The shower drain is slow. The room had debris on the floor under the desk. The door sweep is partially dislodged, leaving a huge gap under the door. The pool is empty and is in terrible shape. Not worth $100 per night."
