"A gem, hidden in the Lazio countryside. If you want to escape herds of tourists from Rome, this is a great pit stop on the way to Tuscany. Great central point for quick trips to Orvieto and Sant Angelo. Both rooms, the pool and the yard are exquisite. The dinner with products from the farm or nearby producers is an absolute must! "

"The hotel is quite far... but nice. The problem is they charged ne twice! I had paid with hotels.com and they insisted it was not paid... since I was on a hurry I paid again. Beware!! I hope they return the money. Have your reservation at hand so they don´t do that to you!! "

The spot is idyllic, and the Villa and grounds beautifully kept up. Umbria is underrated gem of region in Italy, one hour from Rome. Fsbulous food and wine at very low prices."

"I can not give this property the justice it deserves from the front desk and their countless accommodations for transportation and the beautiful quiet facility they provide. The wine is delicious and the dinner at their restaurant is no disappointment. We hope to come for a longer stay next time to be able to enjoy the many things The Griffin Resort has to offer. "

"a wonderful place for a holiday. we were two families of 8 people. We were enchanted by the place. the swimming pool was the icing on the cake after a day full of impressions. We highly recommend it to people and families who are looking for an atmospheric, magical place. the hosts were very nice and helpful. We regret that our vacation lasted only two weeks. I will add that the base was great, less than 10 km to the A1, so it was very nice. We also greet the hosts."

"The mother and daughter who greeted us were wonderful hosts and made us a delicious evening repast of bread, their own special olive oil, meats and cheeses along with incredible peppers and tomatoes! The “hot tub” looked good but was far from hot. Too windy and chilly for the regular pool. When driving to the resort our iPhone map took us a road that was more like a farm path and we weren’t sure we’d make it! When we left out the “main” entrance it was fine. The room was a bit cramped for space...

"What a wonderful time we enjoyed in Viterbo! Paola was a most helpful and communicative host from the minute we booked and she was just as great when we met in person at the check in. The property was ideal and perfectly in keeping with the style of old Viterbo. The apartment has all that one could need for a stay and is cosy without being cramped. We enjoyed every aspect of it and until one stays there the value of the parking space cannot be overstated! We hope we get the opportunity to return...

"Such a beautiful resort. Absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all so amazing and helpful. Rome was about 1.5 - 2 hours away by transit but it was so worth it to stay at this resort. Very easy to take the transit. Very authentic Italian and lots of shopping and restaurants near by. This resort is up on a high hill that cars cannot go up so be prepared to walk up a step hill or 2 but worth it!"
