"I had a wonderful stay at life hotel, it’s in very close proximity to the train station and all the restaurants and bars of the old town. The hotel was very clean and modern at a very affordable price. But what made the hotel was the excellent staff, they cannot do enough for you, they are so friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. I will definitely be returning to this hotel."

"The hotel is immaculate, the restaurant and bar cafe food wonderful, the majority of staff extremely helpful and accommodating and the ambiance of the place is extremely calm and restful. They do need to look at the frustrating pool/spa area … you only get free access with a delux room or above ( they did upgrade me for free at checkin due to my Expedia membership but didn’t tell me, so i thought i had to pay the substantial fee for a while) and you have to book a slot for only 1hr 30mins…then pay for further hours. The car park is quite a walk and needs signs to walk to the buildings, they do have a gof cart service & friendly driver called Adam who gave us tour of the ground’s & history of the place …reception didn’t tell us about this though, so it took a while until we spotted him. If breakfast isn’t included it is expensive for what it is. The other meals were fantastic though. There is no tv area in the hotel though and this would have been helpful for me as my husband worked in our room for a few hours so not being able to watch Roland Garros or sit by the pool was frustrating. Overall a wonderful break …great venue to be outside of Paris but easily accessible and fantastic to visit Versailles"

"I stayed here to be able to walk to Roland Garros for the French Open. It was a perfect location. Room was large with everything I needed for my stay. I did the breakfast - typical French fare - fresh and tasty. I might have been the only American staying there. After tennis I sat in the terrace and had a glass of wine while some young Frenchmen played pétanque. Got an uber very quickly to head to the train station. I would stay again."

"The room was entered into whilst at the gym, cash & credit card stolen. There is no safe in the room. Staff couldn't have been more unhelpful. Requested keycard log. They took a very long time to produce it, long enough to tamper with? Log then showed no entry by any staff keycard. CCTV requested, none in corridors only elevators. Help to phone the police to report? Nope, said there is no point as all they will say is there is no evidence of room entry & no CCTV to support the allegation. Could see attempted transactions by stolen card in progress just before card was frozen. Is this a regular occurrence that is never followed up as there is never any proof? Advise not to leave anything of value in the room as there is no security & even less care by the hotel staff."
