The housekeeping supervisor clearly had an issue with us for no reason; we were never rude, yet she flat-out refused a standard late checkout request. 「We stayed at The Juliet 2 years ago. Our sense was that at this time, things looked freshly painted. It is quiet and convenient with easy access to local restaurants and shops. The adjacent restaurant/social club has opened.」

「The character of the property was excellent although you park at the rear and enter from the rear so you don’t see the full glory of the plantation house. Lovely courtyard area. A traditionalBreakfast of fresh fruit eggs, biscuit and meat gravy. Vegetarian option just one biscuit one egg. Good quality hairdryer and iron there is also a fridge and microwave. 」

「Breakfast was nice and had a great variety. Workout room was nice. Comfortable sheets and ac felt great. Seemed like the hotel wasn’t well maintained. Our bathroom door was scratched up from a dog. And our closer had a broken sliding mirror. Looks like baseboards have never been scrubbed.」

「There where construction workers there taking there used water bottles and holding them up to the nozzles of the juices and filling them up . Very unsanitary and nasty. I did not eat anything from the breakfast after seeing that occur.」

「A van blocked the front entrance when I arrived. I mentioned it to the front desk person who responded, "I. know." That was exemplary of every interaction I had with her. There was an employee smoking at the entrance every time I went in and out. Nice cloud to walk through and the van was there when I left to have dinner much later. Breakfast was sparse. 「Our rooms were clean and the A/C worked. The bathrooms were clean as well. Breakfast was good and had a very good variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially house keeping and the kitchen staff. The night front desk staff was nice but lacked some professionalism. He seemed bothered by me wanting to switch rooms to be close to my family. Then he could only get 1 key made for the new room and he seemed very frustrated.」

「Such a cute little gem, right outside of downtown Lafayette. The house was lovely inside and out. The recent renovations and layout of the house makes it feel so much bigger than it is. The vaulted ceilings, and beautiful attention to details in the interior design made this a new place to stay when we visit! 」
