"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved staying here with our children and grandchildren! The house is large with plenty of space for everyone and the pool was great, private, and kept at the perfect temperature. The house was clean with only minor wear and tear. Loved the location and walked to the beach everyday. Close to everything you would want to do in the Captiva village! We only had a few minor issues that were handled promptly and professionally. We worked with Albert and he was so accommodating and he promptly answered any questions we had. I had also communicated with Albert prior to our trip and he always answered my questions. I’ve rented many properties in Florida and American Realty Group was superior to all other property management companies I’ve encountered."

"Grounds are under construction and renovation so it was busy with workers. Needed to navigate around construction vehicles and roped off work areas. That’s a temporary inconvenience. Booked a king bed room and given 2 queens so had to move. Used Google Maps for restaurants on the grounds to find out we needed to use the paper map handed to us. Beaches were fabulous! Lounge chairs and towels available at the beach for us all. Beach was clean. Restaurants off grounds were awesome and better priced. Sunset was awesome!!!"

"Beautiful house ! Immaculately clean! Lovely pool but the hot tub was cold the entire time and the elevator only worked sporadically. Would be lovely to have a large table and umbrella out by the pool."

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed in the overall quality of this home. The stairs leading up to the front door need to be replaced. The master bath needs to be demoed. Being a little older, it was dangerously difficult to step into the bathtub. My husband could not fit under the shower head without needing to bend over. There were bug poison traps sitting on top of the kitchen counters. (Not comfortable with putting our food on the counters near those)The “3rd” bedroom cannot be considered a bedroom with no closet and you couldn’t even move around the so called bed. The pool was not cleaned when we got there. Pool guy came on Tuesday and put some chemicals in the pool and said we could not use the pool for 24 hours. Very frustrating to pay for something you can not use. Especially for the grandkids. The washer and dryer area was not at all maintained. You couldn’t even open the washer lid all the way. The carpet in the master bedroom was old and dirty and needed to be replaced."

"We had a great stay! The property was perfect for our family of 5. Our 14-year-olds — they fished off the dock nearly the entire week and loved it. The hot tub and pool were especially appreciated on the cooler March days and made the trip enjoyable regardless of the weather.The location was fantastic. We rented a golf cart from Salty Wheels, played golf at The Dunes, and had breakfast each morning at Keylime Bistro — all were excellent and very convenient.One small suggestion: the blankets on the beds were fairly thin, which made the cooler nights a bit chilly. Bringing extra blankets or having additional bedding available would make the stay even more comfortable.Overall, a wonderful property and a great experience!"
