"We were blown away by how nice, stylish and clean the hotel was. The staff were lovely. The pool area really cute. We ate dinner and the food was great. And we heard nothing at night, highly recommended!!"

"Everything was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be any amenities except free coffee. The pool and lobby are under construction and are a big hole in the ground next door currently (4/24/2026). That being said, the price is right given the current state of things. Also, there is no elevator and this place is three stories."

"I recently stayed at your hotel and was extremely disappointed with the quality of my experience. The bed and sheets had a strong bleach odor that made the room uncomfortable and unpleasant. I notified a member of the cleaning staff, but no replacement sheets were ever provided. The overall stay did not match the quality or value advertised. I want a refund."

"Terrific place to stay when you are engaging with U of A and any local businesses. Very centrally located and easy to access anything in the are of the university. One word of caution: parking is at a premium in the area. Very little street parking available. Garage parking is $23 a night while valet is $28. It was a bit unstructured when we arrived late on a week day, which is being kind. Your mileage may vary. Everything else was spot on. Refurbished Embassy Suites building it appears. Reasonably modernized and everything is good for a short stay. "

"Overall it served its purpose well. Staff was helpful and friendly, hotel was clean, and parking garage was by far easier than finding parking for what was a reasonable price for having a safe place for your car. Breakfast had slightly different options each of the two days I stayed. The room had 2 beds and a microwave and fridge that were clean. The shower head is actually high enough that I don’t have to contort myself and risk slipping to wet my hair like so many have. Only slight things that I didn’t like. The water pressure in the shower was pretty low even after adjusting the shower head to its strongest setting. The bathroom door is a barn style door that slides on a track. It doesn’t lock and has a gap between the door and wall so not the most private bathroom. To make the door gap worse, the fan was so quiet that my kid was saying that they couldn’t figure out what the second switch in the bathroom did. Sometimes it’s more comfortable to have a sound barrier for bathroom use, usually a fan or at least a door that blocks sound a little bit. There were 2 trash cans in the room, a bathroom can and a small divided can for trash and recycle. They were both about 3 steps away from the door, which is not near the desk or close enough to the beds. Finally, the only Kleenex was in the bathroom, which also has toilet paper. None huge deals, but small comfort issues do lessen the experience. The price at this hotel was also the lowest price in the area."
