"The ryokan was very beautiful with a very inviting lobby. Staff were extremely accommodating and checked on food allergies. Dinner and breakfast were awesome, tasted so great and filling. There was some mold in the toilet so minus points for that."

"5 mins walk from Kii- Tanabe station, very convenient and room was spacious enough as we did not bring our luggage i recommend staying here if you are there for Kumano Kodo"

"The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The location is great. The kumano kodo trail is right behind it. This onsen town will be amazing to visit in winter, it was too bad that we were there in summer!"

"This is our second stay at Hotel Urashima. They've changed ownership so there is a difference in checking in There are stand alone Kiosk to check in. Not so personal. We usually get 1/2 board which is buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Both breakfast and dinner have several pre dinner cooking devices that you cook your fish or vegetables. Breakfast could be improved. My favorite is the variety of onsens and the cave grottto is my favorite. There is also a shiatsu massage service."
