「スカイ島でちょうどよい宿がとれず、やむを得ずおさえたホテルだったが、思いの外快適だったと思う。レンタカーでしか行けない場所。宿泊客は年配が多い印象。一人旅のひとも数名見かけた。スコティッシュブレックファストに満足。朝食以外は用意なしということで事前に度々案内メールあり。」

「Truly the best property in Portree. Yes you are outside of town centre, but it is within a 10 minute walk which we easily did a few times. The hotel was incredible. 「Stayed in 4 highlands hotels. This was hands down the best food and most modern rooms. Downsides were dinner service was very slow and rooms too warm. The latter could be a problem in summer. 」

「I loved this place! Everything was fantastic. My room had the largest bed I have ever seen. The place was spotless. Great hot water, big shower with an amazing rain head. Loads of room. Fluffy towels. Nespresso machine.i wish there had been shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I find that shower gel is not a great shampoo. The temperature in the room was fine for this time of year and the windows open but I wonder if that would be acceptable in summer. I did not use the steam room but it’s a nice...

「Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. 「No parking on site. Rooms are old but seems renovated recently. Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear noise from restaurant and bar downstairs till 11:30pm when they close it. Good for couple of days. Location of the hotel is good. Staff is very courteous and nice. 」
