「The house was huge and very private. The views were great from the house. Easy to get to downtown Merida and wineries from the house. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. 」

「The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay.」

Consejos a mejorar: renovar lavavajillas; renovar mosquiteras; mejorar mobiliario de la cocina; añadir lavadora; limpieza del interior de la casa (es una casa de campo, pero se pueden quitar telarañas de las ventanas y rincones).」

「We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

「Best hosts ever. Was greeted by owner's father and mother. We were shown the property and asked if we wanted a fire lit while we were out seeing the ruins. And we had a warm cozy home to return to. Homemade marmalade, wonderful cheese and meats. Homemade pound cake, good thing we only stayed one night we could get fat.」

「Property was very clean and very well equipped. Swimming pool was good size and very welcome after a hot day's walking or sightseeing. Location was perfect for exploring local area on foot or by car. Susana was the perfect hostess」
