「The expansive view of the lake was divine. We saw many red winged blackbirds as well as wood ducks and mallards. On night there was a dramatic electrical storm that came over the mountain and across the water, but we could watch it while feeling cozy and safe in the comfy chairs. The kitchen had all that we needed. The location was a perfect balance of rural and near town. Caught a movie at the Millerton movie house which was enlightening. An excellent escape cottage! Showers were quickly hot....

「This is our 4th year staying in Hillsdale post-Christmas but this house is the FIRST that had EVERYTHING we needed--spacious bedrooms. easy access to the woods, a beautiful "no traffic" road to take walks up, spectacular views, plenty of "hang-out" space for everyone, a fireplace.
