「Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area. 」

「Very helpful welcome - advice re parking and dining. Bedroom - I especially appreciated the hairdryer and the quality of the soap in the shower. I would happily stay there again.」

「Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. 」

「On arrival l was given no information by the young lady. There was only WiFi information in my room, nothing else. Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. The same, l heard from another guest who had heard from another guest, about being able/aloud to use the fridge in the kitchen for storage 」

「Lovely place, great location on the high street. Private, off street parking is very helpful - the entrance to it is through a very narrow archway which was a tight squeeze for an SUV. The property itself is well kept & equipped. Very clean and nicely furnished. Communication from the owner by text on the day with all the check in info was very helpful.」

「Cant not fault the place. Its was clean, easy to gain access with it being unmanned, shops near by for food. Will stay again if in the area.」
