「The Armas Hotel is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, efficient place to stay right in the heart of Old San Juan. The room I had was definitely on the smaller side, so it’s not the kind of hotel where you’d lounge around for long stretches—but it was spotless and well kept.

Overall location is convenient, walkable to all things Viejo San Juan, lots of restaurants nearby. While it’s located near everything it is separate enough to not get a lot of foot traffic, so it’s nice and quiet and I didn’t have any safety concerns.
