"It was just ok. My room’s conditioner bottle was empty and the next day it was still empty after the cleaning. The front staff was friendly when I communicated it with them. The hotel restaurant was delicious but expensive."

"Lovely room with super soft bathrobes and we liked so much we have bought one for home. Staffs were helpful and efficient and they kindly extended our check out time to take into account our late flight. The hotel is just by the side of the Grand Canal with a shopping center, plenty restaurants literally outside and metro was a short walk away. Brilliant stay and can’t fault it at all."

"We had an excellent experience at the Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou East Station by IHG. The location couldn’t be more convenient, it’s just a short walk from Hangzhou East Station, which made arriving, departing, and getting around the city incredibly easy. Despite being so close to a major transport hub, the hotel felt calm, safe, and well‑designed for travellers. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide variety of options each morning, from Chinese dishes to Western favourites, fresh fruit, pastries, and hot items. Everything was well‑stocked and tasted great, making it a perfect start to the day. Our room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The layout was thoughtful, the bed was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness exceeded expectations. It felt like a true retreat after long days of exploring Hangzhou. Overall, this hotel delivers fantastic value, comfort, and convenience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou."
