"It really was a great hotel, property was really great. The free breakfast was a huge plus. My only complaints are the rooms really need to be renovated.Very outdated. Rooms are very hot. And the bartenders need to be a lot faster. 20 min for a drink is crazy when there are only 8 people at the bar, consistently for 6 straight nights. Other than that the location is prime and my family had a great time. "

"A beautiful relaxing spot on the beach of Tamarindo. It’s a nice quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of where all the restaurants and shops are. But not to far away. Just a few minutes walk and you’re in it. Full kitchens in the rooms are a huge plus. And did I mention on the beach. Literally just steps away"

"Everything at Capitan Suizo was amazing. Perfect location on the beach. Stayed in bungalow with beautiful garden views. Beds very comfortable. Outdoor shower took a little getting used to but after a couple of days my girls and I enjoyed listening to the sounds of Howler monkeys and birds while showering. Breakfast was delicious and we ate outside watching the ocean every morning. We would lay out in the lounge chairs under a little shade steps away from the ocean and from the restaurant/bar. When we weren’t on the beach we swam in the pool which was super clean. Had a full body massage one day at the spa which was incredible. Went back to spa on another day for a collagen facial. All the staff were so gracious and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are coming to Tamarindo, you will thank yourself for staying here!"

"Location is in the middle of pretty much the center of Tamarindo for whatever you need, carr was kept in a gated and fully secured parking lot. The pool and set up of the entire place was gorgeous, you wouldn’t need anything more."

"I stayed in Tamarindo. This hotel is in the center of town and is a nice hotel. It’s a small hotel 24 rooms or so. Pool in the middle of rooms. Everything went smoothly and staff is great. My room only had single AC unit for the room and the room gets hot even with the AC running all the time. And I was the last unit on the top row of rooms and WiFi connection was barely in range some of the time . Other than those 2 issues. It was a great property and clean. Close to the beach, supermarket, souvenirs and coffee shops. "
