「Very clean, beautifully decorated, and amazing back yard.」

「The place was ideally located and easy to find at the popular west end of Donner Lake. Up a short flight of stairs, past a string of fairy lights and antisocial chipmunks, this two-bedroom, one bath hideaway was a nice place to land after a long drive. The Scandinavian raw-wood design is nearly as beautiful as the views, and the privacy, despite having homes on either side, is appreciated. Kind of a unique experience in that PG&E (Northern California's power company) instated a power shut-off in the whole region (for fire safety) just hours after I arrived! I elected to stay anyway for 2 days, although the host was more than willing to allow me to cancel my reservation. Still had a great time there with my dog! 「Fabulous view right on the water.Host was responsive.Quaint little cottage. It should be made clear that the sofa bed does not pull out and there is only one bed. More beach towels would be nice and maybe some updated beach chairs. Hairdryer was barely working; a standard size hairdryer should be the bare minimum. The shower was not draining correctly. The cottage could use a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs.Otherwise fabulous stay.」
