Would stay again!

Exceptional house, location, and host. Walking distance to ferries that will take you wherever you’d like to go and walking distance to a great neighborhood with exception food, coffee, etc. View from the house is incredible and amenities are top notch.

Lovely house in a great location

We loved our stay in Marika's lovely house. The location is great, close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Ferry and bus stop 5 minutes walk away, giving access to the whole city. The views from the house were great and the house had everything we needed. Marika always responded quickly and was a great host.

Family get together

Birthday Gathering

Great stay and perfect for our family. Two kitchens and two living rooms. Outside balcony and patio overlooking harbour. Kids loved the pool. BBQ was great. Fabulous harbour views.

Gorgeous Views, Quiet Area

We enjoyed our stay at Balmain East. The home has a beautiful view, and is very close to the ferry wharf. The area is quiet and feels very safe. We found the beds to be comfortable. Marika was very easy to communicate with both prior to and during the stay. The home is well suited to families.

Amazing Property

If you are looking at this property you need to book it now. Amazing house in an amazing location. You will not be disappointed from first booking to any questions we had Marika could not do enough for us. This is a special place with all you could ask for. Great place, convenient location, great owner

We were two families with older teens who stayed at the property for a week. The home is beautiful and photos are spot on. The check-in and manual on using the home as well as info on the neighborhood were great. The location is convenient to the ferry/buses and the neighborhood has all you will need if you just want to stay close (restaurant, market and shopping are easy walking distance). The views are breathtaking and the house is just a short walk to have one of the best views of the fireworks for New Years. Marika is very responsive and accommodating. She even coordinated to have someone meet the delivery person when we had groceries delivered early in the day before we arrived late. We had a wonderful time.

Wow, what a location

While the house is amazing, it is all about the location and views. Right on Sydney harbour and looking at the beautiful city skyline and sun sparkling on the water, we couldn’t take our eyes off the view. Multiple balconies on all levels have fantastic outlooks. The house is massive, with two living areas and two fully equipped kitchens, packed with appliances and kitchen essentials. There is a large outdoor patio plus the pool area and gardens. Everything is there, all you need is food, drinks and your swimming costume! We cooked all our meals as we couldn’t bear to leave the house, except to go to the park about 200 metres away which had even more amazing views. Marika the host was very responsive and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous Home in a great location!!!

We were a group of seven, three couples and one single. This home was absolutely perfect!! When we arrived everyone could not believe what a beautiful home we had found. This home has four bedrooms two with King beds and two with Queens. Everyone was very pleased with their room. There are two living areas and kitchens. Great outdoor space with a pool, located on the harbor. The home was well stocked with spices, paper products and other necessities. The host left us a bottle of champagne. Such a nice surprise!! There were plenty of towels, both for the beach and bath. Also plenty of bedding. The location is great. A quick walk to the Balmain ferry station. Then, a quick ferry ride to either Circular Quay or Barangaroo. Also the Balmain East area offers many restaurants, pubs and cute shops to explore. Don’t hesitate to rent this home. You will love it!! I will say there are quite a few stairs if you have mobility issues. We are all active 60 something’s and had no issues.

Gathering for family of 6 during a school break from the Up Over. Prompt & thorough communication in the booking process and clear instructions for check in. House immaculately clean with well equipped kitchen & laundry.Dramatic waterfront pool & outdoor dining area. 7 minute walk to the Balmain East ferry & onward throughout the amazing ferry network. Local restaurants were varied with friendly & well trained staff. Tough convincing some of our family members to come home (and we live in Hawai’i)!

Modern luxury in the perfect location

We planned a fee days in Sydney before our cruise and picked this gorgeous town house to stay in with our family and friends. I was initially worried that it wasn’t near grocery stores or transportation, but I was wrong. Quick walk up the hill to restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Quick walk down the hill to the ferry that can take you anywhere you want to go. What a beautiful modern home, with everything you could need. Marika was amazing to work with and we loved our stay. Best views at night!
