"We had a great stay. The place was amazing. Able to watch the sun rise from the balcony.The beach area was never really crowded. We spent a lot of time just relaxing.Dermot was very good to work with. He answered all our questions in a timely manner, usually right after you send a message."

"The host was welcoming and the house was perfect for a family Thanksgiving gathering. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kids/teenagers. The two kitchens had everything needed, and the backyard with pool, and hot tub, was a perfect place to spend the week. It was actually hard to get my family to leave the house!"

"The house was in a very nice neighborhood. It felt very safe the entire trip. There was construction going on throughout the week with a new home being built but the house has good sound proofing. Very close to a small beach. You can't swim in it but a good location that you can walk to see the sunset. The pool is nice but it sets on a timer that goes off at 5pm so you can't really use it after that. The propery needs a net because a lot of bugs got into water and the pool filter couldn't keep up.The kitchen was great. The area restaurants are pretty bad so we utilized the kitchen for most food. The restaurants are overpriced and almost all open air, so if you like sweating and swatting flies as you eat, have at it! They supply a espresso machine and keurig but a simple coffee machine would be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the house. Marathon itself, is just okay. If you come to boat and fish, I could see it as a good location. If you're a foodie and beach goer, I'd look somewhere else. "

"We had a great time. The house was well appointed. We brought a 30ft Grady White Marlin and had plenty of room to dock. Sombrero Reef is about 15 minutes away by boat. We caught plenty of fish and had Key Fisheries prepare our catch. What an amazing week."
