"Except for booking a VRBO for one of my kids this is my first experience with VRBO. I was a little apprehensive all things considered. If it was this easy for other VRBO options I would do it again. Stephanie was a great host. She communicated immediately and accurately. The house was clean and as described. The view of the canal was nice. I did not have a boat with me but I am a huge boater mostly on the Chesapeake Bay. The 45 foot slip behind the house is perfect if you bring a boat and want easy access to either the Gulf or the Atlantic. Others in the complex were doing just that. If I go back to Marathon again I would certainly stay here."

"Brian was a fantastic host. We booked for a weekend with two families and four kids (ages 5–8), and the place handled all of us easily. Communication was quick and clear from booking through checkout, check-in was seamless, and the house was clean and exactly as pictured. Great location for getting on and off the water in Marathon, and plenty of room for the kids to spread out at night. Zero issues the whole stay. We'd book with Brian again without hesitation — highly recommend!"
