スンダリジャルのホリデーパーク

「ネパールのお正月のディワリに宿泊しました。ダルバール広場に近く、場所は少々わかりづらいですが、電話をするとオーナーの娘さんが迎えに来てくれて、道中もフレンドリーな会話で楽しませてくれました。ホテルは、ネパール古来のネワリの人々の家（といっても作りはかなり大きいですが）で、５００年前の部材を使うなど、大変印象深い建物でした。外見は古く見えますが、中は非常にきれいに手入れをされていて、今回は友人二人で１室ずつ予約しましたが、夫婦やカップルで利用されると、雰囲気もよくていいかもしれません。宿泊客は欧米人が多く、オーナー曰く、日本人の宿泊は初めてということで、大変、歓迎してくれました。都会の近代的なホテルにない、カトマンズで宿泊するには、ベストなホテルと思います。（ちなみに３日前にポカラへ行く前に別のホテルにも宿泊しました）お薦めです。」

「A very good stay in Kathmandu! The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit. E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this hotel!」

「A hotel with an elevator and a lovely restaurant/bar and dipping pool the size of a hot tub on the roof top. I also saw a sauna and steam room but I didn’t try them out. There was a very small gym but it was located by the rooftop restaurant and elevator and had a glass wall that really gave the impression of very much being on display while working out.
