Fantastic new hotel

My second trip to Kathmandu, first time in this hotel. It is amazing in every way. Buffet breakfast excellent, bed/pillows super comfortable, room clean...no complaints at all. Beautiful view of the hills from the window. Will definitely stay again.

While its location is a bit out of the way, the Hyatt excels at friendly luxury-hotel level customer service at half of the price of the other luxury hotels in the city (we also stayed at the Marriott on this trip and this was by far the better experience). Everyone from reception and restaurant staff to housekeeping went out of their way to ensure we had a first rate stay. It didn’t go unnoticed. We hated to leave after our week exploring the region. I know I’ll come back to Kathmandu and when I do, I’ll stay here. The staff earn all five stars and they should be incredibly proud of the service they offer at this hotel (even if it is out of the way).
