The rooms need updating. For our stay there were crowded tourist groups in the hotel. They were very loud and unfortunately they pur us at the same floor with them. We were very tired and cannot change the room. Breakfast quite mediocre. The location is far from city center.
The reason we chose Ramada was because the pictures looked good, however, as soon as we entered, we saw the dirty windows and couch in the lobby, and the room was very dirty, the floor and tables had stains all over them, there was hair on the toilet seat and the floor, the ceilings had mold and they tried to mask that moldy smell with a freshener, which made it worse. We were then shown an upgraded room, which upon entering, the smell hit us and the couch was so dirty and that was enough for us which is why we asked for a refund and they put us on the phone for almost 3 hours and then declined even though we pushed really hard, they even sent house keeping to our room but it was still dirty. Overall, the whole property was very rundown and they said it was only 6 years old but it really needs a renovation as even the lobby windows were dirty. And while we were on the phone with the front desk Manager, he was rude and even asked us to "be quiet". That hotel is not worth more than $30-50. Even their advertising was deceiving because there was extra charge for sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER HOTELS IN KTM FOR THE SAME PRICE OR CHEAPER WITH MORE FACILITIES. Very dissappointed with the whole experience.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the staff made my entire stay a pleasure. The hotel Is in the middle of the city, but it is very secure and safe. A great place to stay in Kathmandu.
The Ramada is a wonderful hotel! My entire extended family spent more than a week there when we were in Kathmandu for a wedding. The suites are spacious and comfortable, the restaurants are great, and the staff is incredibly solicitous. The only drawback is that the Ring Road is currently under construction in the area, which makes navigating by car and on foot slightly difficult but hardly impossible. The staff was always ready to call us a cab, and we managed to walk to a number of places in the area without difficulty. A very enjoyable stay!
Qualité des prestations et de l'accueil. Belles chambres, bonne piscine et super salle de fitness.
Tres bonne conciergerie tres facilitante.
Un peu loin du centre mais on fait tout en taxi. Telecharger l'appli in drive (avec carte sim locale a 4 € à prendre à l'aeroport).
The Ramada Dhumbarahi was lovely. My room was spacious and comfortable. There was a lovely gift of fruit and chocolates waiting for me, and a welcome note from the Head of Housekeeping. I was on a business trip, so I spent some time working in my room. The WiFi was good and I had no issues. As ever, the staff make the hotel stay, and all the staff at the Ramada were lovely!
Staff here are top notch! So welcoming helpful and ready to make your stay the absolute best it can be. Gym was great to help me train for my trek. Pool was beautiful. Restaurant is fabulous and the buffet for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be coming back here next time in Kathmandu!
The hotel and staff were amazing…the concierge Surendar was very attentive to all my needs and wishes…I was always greeted with a kind Namaste and warm smile.
