「The place was great. Even as presented online! Very spacious. Very clean and updated furnishing. Lots of options for television entertainment. Kindness and helpfulness of the owner was much appreciated. Our only suggestion is to get a railing for the steps going to the lower level.」

「We loved this neighborhood. We had close access to Union Station, Circulator bus and the H street bus. We are 4 retirees who enjoyed a week in DC. The only down side was there was no toaster, oven or cooktop; although we managed just fine. The host communicated regularly and quickly when we had questions. Minor repairs should be done but overall a 5 star stay!」

「Clean home with comfortable beds. Easy to get to all the sites in DC. About a 12-14 minute walk to subway, but we usually choose a 2 minute walk to the bus- very easy to use. Host responded quickly to all our questions. Some street noise, but normal for a stay in a city.」

「Had a wonderful time」

「Great family vacation. We walked to dinner in the neighborhood and walked the dogs to the park, and walked to the metro to take in the sites, museums, and even a caps game. Close to the airport and a huge shopping center. We recommend the District Biscuit company...very yummy and close by. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and theres a great park nearby for dmall children to play. The house is very quiet with plenty of room for the whole family.」

「Little Oatlands was home for 9 of us for a flower filled week in May. We assembled from KC, BC, CA and VA to attend my daughter’s wedding overlooking the Potomac at Murray Hill. The property and approach to Little Oatlands takes your breath away! Flowering Dogwoods line the drive blending with the white fence and homes in the distance. Each of us walked down the lane to read the plaques and the history of the preserved property. Certainly a history lesson and it would be wonderful to know...

「We were 3 siblings with our spouses - plenty of room and very comfortable. Lots to do close by. Owner was great to work with - very responsive and attentive.」

「This is a great little studio that's convientely located near the Red line (15 minute walk). The walk is up a hill, so if you're not feeling up to that after a day of sightseeing, you can take the D8 bus. The neighborhood is safe-ish, never had a problem walking to/from the apartment even late at nights, but you may have some people ask you for money. You're also very close to a Giant foods, which is handy. The host was very accomodating and even had bottled and sparkling water in the fridge...

「The only complaint we have about our stay is that it wasn't long enough! The apartment was clean, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable (my husband got his first ever sleep score in the 90s!). The location was perfect for us - close to our daughter's university and walking distance to the zoo, the metro, Nat'l Cathedral, plus great shops and restaurants!」
