The Izumiotsu subway station is a short 4 minute walk away and the supermarket is only 3 minutes. The supermarket has a fantastic selection of ready-to-eat choices. "Great onsen - just the hot springs are worth staying there. The hotel itself is slightly outdated and may need some touch up work, but it looks very traditional and very clean. They won't let you into the hotel without taking your shoes and providing sleepers (which are too small for one of us). Everyone in the hotel is extremely polite."
