The main bed was comfortable BUT the futon's were actually chairs that folded out and they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There was no staff available. It was all contactless. The bar was the same no people. If you didn't have cell phone to use the QR code you could not get a drink. The breakfast if you didn't pay for it in advance was not available as expected. "The host was welcoming and friendly that she led us to the chalet when we got lost. Everything was tidy and neat from bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room. The hob is easy to use and both the dishwasher and the washing machine were working well and clean. The heater and the boiler were functioning well which were important after experiencing bad weather outdoor. My family had a good time there, which was a good base to visit Scottish Highland and Isle of Skye."

"The room was fine, clean and functional, though the window doesn’t open so it was a bit stuffy. Also, there is no soundproofing in the walls so you will hear what’s going on in the next room. This is an expensive area and this place is one of the cheaper hotels. The restaurant food was variable. The salmon on pea risotto was very good while the lemon tart was very forgettable. The staff were very good."

"the hotel was clean and tidy but needs upgrading in the future like most hotels this age. the hotel is in good location for the town centre. The bedroom was a good size but unable to open any windows. The tv was hard to get local programs and streaming channels. Overall we would stay again as we new the age of the property when we booked."

"This was once probably a Grand Hotel, but has suffered from lack of updating over the years and is now somewhat old-fashioned. From the outside it looks very impressive and is still nice but dated. My room was ok, clean, but lacking modern touches, lack of plug points at convenient heights, eg next to the bed etc. Breakfast buffet was good, as was the evening meal (additional cost). Overall, pricing probably reflected the status of the hotel."
