「I pre-booked the hotel weeks before I traveled. The website said that the retreat house had restaurants, lounge, and bar amenities that I thought would be useful for my stay. The restaurant was not opened when we arrived. The bar//lounge had no staff. We asked the only employee we ever saw when the restaurant would be open and she said it’s only open for breakfast. 「The building and area were beautiful. I believe the hotel was understaffed. Staff members tried to be friendly and welcoming but you could tell they were spread too thin. Especially at breakfast. Breakfast starts at 7 but we were informed it’s best for us to wait until 8 because they had tour buses in.
