「Older property, but good condition.」

「Went to check in and the place smelled terrible and was so run down, I chose not to stay. It did not feel safe. I asked for a refund from Expedia, but the property manager denied it. Expedia gave me one key credit, which was nice, and I went elsewhere.」

「Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

「The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed when we arrived, including making sure we had access to the private parking away from shop/restaurant traffic. We dropped our equipment rental at Beech and rented direct from White Wolf when we arrived which was excellent service and convenient allowing us to skip the lines at Beech and walk right onto the slopes from the rental. Just an easy 1/4 mile walk. The restaurant and shop are great and super convenient when you’re staying in...
