「A cozy cabin with just the essentials. A great stay. Communication was excellent. The family loved the ducks, chickens, and rooster. Great location for my son's mountain biking but easy access to all the things. Without loosing the mountain feel and charm. Log cabin, woods, crisp air, and porch sitting.」

Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom...

「Overall, the cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay very much. The only issue was overwhelming smell of Fabulosa cleaning solution when we first arrived, had to let the cabin air out for several hours! By end of our stay we realized that it was probably due to trying to get rid of the musty odor that had come back into the space. You may want to look into finding source of musty odor and eliminating that rather than trying to just mask it with overwhelming cleaning smell! Other than that,...

「Cabin was filthy, every surface was covered in pet hair even though it was listed as no pets allowed. Dog had pooped in the closet and left it for us to find. Hot tub was disgusting I spent hours trying to get the water clear. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Owner did come out and offered a free night. I wouldn’t even stay here for free. 」
