「The bed was the most comfortable and the room darkest and quietest of any place I've stayed, even those 3 times the price. The room was spacious and comfortable and the view from my window of sunset over the lake! And it was cool that the clerk knew who I was before I announced myself due to online check in. On the other hand: The elevator to the 3rd floor acted like it was not in tip top shape and the breakfast mediocre. But I would definitely do it all over again.」

「Staff were helpful to our request. We had a small dead bug on the bathroom once we entered the room. Also there was a tiny spider walking on our white top blanket cover. Breakfast was poor unfortunately. Their pool and hot tub were pretty good. Breakfast ends pretty early at 9 am. Very big room.」

「Needed a credit card for incidentals. Couldn’t use the regular terminal. Used something that only took swipe connected to the computer. Then she also keyed in the card…. Seemed sus. There really was no need to collect a card as there were no places for an incidental. Rooms are dated with a TV from 2009. Hand soap and lotion are mounted similar to the amenities in the shower. Seemed tacky. I wouldn’t pay $200 to stay at this Holiday Inn when it’s about the same as an old La Quinta.」
