"We really liked our stay in the hotel. The owner was really helpful telling us the places to go visit. He was kind enough to let us use the microwave and provides cutlery for our food. He also shared with us where we could get some bear sightings in a safe manner. Overall, if you are going to Haines, I would recommend the hotel."

"It is located right in downtown and very convenient if you want to use local transport. We took the room with the kitchen which was really helpful as we could make our own coffee and breakfast. There is noise from downstairs bar on Saturdays but we were on the 3rd floor so could not hear much. The property itself is old but kept clean. Check in was smooth. Would highly recommend if you do not have a car otherwise you can find cheaper places to stay but they will be 35-40 mins from downtown. We loved it here and would definitely stay again the next time we come to Juneau."

"We came off a cruise so I loved every room had a washer and dryer. Bedroom, sitting room and kitchen. Near road so pretty noisy. No air conditioning."

"I wish we knew that the restaurant was under renovation when we booked. But the location was nice… far enough away from the cruise ships… I do recommend a rental car if you are not on a cruise. Uber gets pricey."
