Where to begin…. First, know that the cute wood stove/fireplace pictured you are unable to use. Which wasn’t made clear until the day of when we got the code to the house. No where in the listing does it state that you can’t use the fireplace which was super frustrating because we wouldn’t have booked it had we known that. It’s cold on Colorado and when you come off the slopes it’s nice to be able to have a fire burning. When i asked about it, I wasn’t given an answer until 2 days later. Communication was lacking at least through Vrbo. I had plenty of text communication from vacasa through text bot. The floor in the hall way had crumbs by the doorways, not cleaned thoroughly. Then in the master bedroom there were cobs webs on the door as well as a towel hanging from previous stay. GrossWhen you walk in the door there was a smoky/musty smell, not inviting. The towels were stale and stunk as well. When we undid the linens to leave, some of the pillows were discolored yellow and gross looking. Glad I didn’t look before. Some pros: They did leave a cute box of soap by the sink to use and trash bags. It was warm, and the loud furnace worked for the whole house to keep it warm. The main beds had heating blankets which was nice. There was plenty of room for us. The dryer worked well for our gloves. Overall, i personally think it needs some updating as the floor in the hallway had a gap and the carpet in the master was rolling up and needed to be stretched (trip hazard).
