「ホテルのレストランがとても良かったです。朝食では魚の燻製やエッグベネディクトなど、メニューの中から好きなものを注文でき、一部セルフサービスになっているフルーツやヨーグルトなどもレベルが高く、スパイスで煮込んだ洋梨のコンポートは絶品でした。夕食もホテルのレストランをチェックイン時に予約し、魚介のグリルなどを美味しくいただきました。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切です。部屋は離れにあるラグジュアリータイプを予約、離れにあるセンスの良い部屋で落ち着いて滞在できました。」

「It was a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The property was clean and well maintained. Only problem was finding a way to get ti it on foot as Google maps was trying to direct us around a round about with out an obvious footpath 」

「Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was nice if a little compact. Very clean. We had room 203 which was a dormer room so sloping ceilings. Not so good if your tall, particularly in the shower. Cant speak fo the other rooms though. Plenty of parking when we were there.」

「Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. 「I forgot to ask for two single beds. I asked for it at the front desk and they had it ready for me. The front desk staff was very courteous and appreciative. Breakfast is also very good.」

「Wonderful stay in a magnificent historic building with friendly staff, fantastic views and great food. Our room had a view of the forest where we saw deer & rabbits wandering by. We had great food, both casual and formal dining. The location is truly buried in the forest, peaceful and great for walking. A true sanctuary get away.」
