「It was just right for the 3 of us. Its situation, within walking distance of shops, pubs, etc. was excellent. There was lots of dog walks in open countryside......... she loved it! One minor grouse - the cooker was qite complicated, and the instructions in the welcome pack didn't fit the exact model of cooker. Otherwise, we loved Exchange cottage, and we loved Northleach........ we'll be back」

The Lodge is beautifully decorated and has been furnished and equipped for a very comfortable holiday. The property is situated a few miles outside Malmesbury which we found ideal for visiting many different NT sites as well as towns such as Cirencester and Tetbury.」

「Felt like home immediately. Very cosy. The books everywhere, Shakespeare's buste...funny typical English weird dog lamp. Bathroom to die for. Bedrooms gorgeous. Did not see the ferret. And Fairford itself is a gem. Having read many books about the English Tudor times this was perfect as a place to stay and visit Highclere castle, Jeremy's farm and other lovely things and places in the beautiful surrounding countryside.」

「Pear Tree Cottage is absolutely adorable and the garden is beautiful. The entire house is equipped with everything you need for a self catering vacation. It’s in a great location on a quiet street a short walk from the village square. The property manager, Joanne, was responsive to every request and a delight to work with. The only thing I would suggest is some attention to the toilets. We had a lot of difficulty getting them to flush thoroughly. Perhaps an increase in the water pressure or...

So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return.」

They provide a lot of useful info to plan and stay at their home.. even have an app & book. Although they tried very hard to explain where to park to drop off our things, we failed...but it's ok.
