Ivy Cottage was definitely one of the nicest cottages I have ever stayed in. It was clean, cosy, warm, spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. And the village is lovely too.
This was such a lovely, cosy cottage. Really well equipped with plenty of space for the two of us. We particularly liked the wood burning stove. The cottage is just a few yards from the pub in a quiet, out of the way spot. Ideal for a couple wanting to get away from it all for a few days

This was our second stay at Ivy Cottage.
This was our second stay at Ivy Cottage. The first was curtailed by the start of lockdown in March.
We loved the place and returned for our wedding anniversary just after the second lockdown was lifted. The cottage is well equipped and well maintained. The pub next door is brilliant with good food and very welcoming staff. In fact everyoone we met during our stay was very friendly.
The Cotswolds is a beautiful area with lots of quaint villages.

A lovely cottage in a very quiet location exactly as hoped for.
A lovely cottage in a very quiet location exactly as hoped for. Nicely presented a stereo/radio would be a useful addition and the bathroom and kitchen are slightly dated. We had a fantastic week and would use again and recommend this cottage to others.

More comfortable bed than ours at home! Cosy and in picturesque location.
More comfortable bed than ours at home! Cosy and in picturesque location. Car parking too small for large cars, but adequate for medium sized Volvo V50.
A period cottage tastefully modernised, tucked away in a sleepy Gloucestershire village. Close enough to Cirencester to feel secure with all its amenities/services, remote enough to feel at ease and at-one with the countryside. The surrounding countryside is truly beautiful, criss-crossed with public footpaths, teeming with wildlife, and home to very friendly people. Ivy Cottage is ideal to use as a base to explore The Cotswolds and many popular tourist destinations all within an hour or two drive eg Bath, Warwick, Stratford, Windsor etc. The rooms in the cottage were clean, tidy and attractively furnished, and the small terraced garden to the rear of the property was a positive "sun-trap". We enjoyed a week of sunshine at the cottage and the rooms remained cool throughout. Within 110 paces of the front door (I know because I counted every step) is the pub -The Seven Tuns -built in the early seventeenth century, just down the hill from the medieval church. There isn't a shop in the village but provisions can be purchased locally at Northleach or Bourton, which is a little further afield. In short, our stay was a very enjoyable experience, one which I hope to repeat in the very near future, and would have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family.

Super surprise.
Super surprise. The website photos don't do it justice at all. It's a bright, cosy, peaceful place with character. It's in an amazing spot, the local pub is great, and the immediate country paths are walkable or run-able.

A lovely cottage, very cosy and comfortable perfect for a couple.
A lovely cottage, very cosy and comfortable perfect for a couple. Lots of extras in kitchen and with a decent sized fridge freezer so able to do a good shop on our way there. The garden is very inviting. Spoke to the caretaker a couple of times who was very helpful
Delightful village, immediate roads are quite narrow but lots of passing places. Local pub just up the hill well worth a visit. Lots to see locally, information in the cottage very useful.

Delightful cosy cottage in a quiet village, with an excellent log burner.
Delightful cosy cottage in a quiet village, with an excellent log burner. Very well equipped and clean apart from frying pans and wok well passed their best and badly stained mugs which we had to clean before use.
