「We always enjoy the uniqueness of the place. Its location is great and the facilities are also good. We noticed an obvious uplift in food quality this year. 」

「Lovely hotel, very personal. A little walk up to the ski fields - good exercise! Would have liked to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee. Would be happy to stay there again.」

「We had a 3 night stay here and couldn’t have asked for more the rooms We’re clean and comfortable the breakfast and dinner buffet was great with lots of choice, the wine beer and juice is a good bonus.」

「A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.」

「The room was mediocre, uncomfortable bed, they only gave us 2 towels for the tow of as. No towels for your hands. For an 110€+ per night hotel I would expect to have the white slippers which they normally put them in the room. We had the spa included, but you had to pay extra for the bathrobe. I won’t recommend it 」

「The hotel offers very good accommodation conditions, we are not talking about luxury, we are talking about functionality. We didn't feel like we were missing anything even for a moment. One recommendation: a little diversity at breakfast would not hurt.」

The staff was courteous, and the breakfast was reasonable. The price was attractive and, in my opinion, worth the money. For those who are intimidated by a luxurious hotel, this may not be the first choice, but for those who want a nice place on a reasonable budget, this is definitely a reasonable option.」

「At this price point, Hotel Grand, in Samakov, is excellent value. The owner, Stanislav, was very helpful and gave us great service. The room was fine, the restaurant was fine, the bar was fine. There are 4 large supermarkets very near the hotel. We like supermarkets :) We had a great, comfortable stay. Thank you Stanislav and your team :)」
