"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. "The living quarters were loft style which is a favorite for me. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very cute and well organized with many gadgets for the stay. The hotel is central to restaurants and historic buildings and sites. Transportation is convenient and you can find tours and markets that are accessible by just a short walk."

"The hotel is within easy walking distance of the airport bus stop if you haven’t much baggage. It’s very close to the metro station which is one stop from the train station. This was very convenient for me since I used Catania as a base to explore Taormina and Siracusa. It is around 15 minutes walk from the duomo and main tourist sites. The restaurant behind the hotel had live music outdoors but it was quiet by 11 pm. The breakfast buffet was very good with a fine array of choices. Management was very prompt in replying to queries on WhatsApp. Highly recommended. "
