The area near Yeomchang Station on Line 9 is very convenient for getting to Gimpo International Airport via subway. There's also an airport bus that makes it easy to reach Incheon International Airport. Since I often travel and sometimes arrive at the airport early in the morning, it's incredibly convenient to have good transportation options nearby.
This neighborhood offers a unique experience of relaxation and healing within the city. There's a well-maintained market and a peaceful park where you can enjoy trekking for over 30 minutes. The area is quiet and serene. There's also the Yongwangsan Moonlight Street, which is beautifully lit with bright streetlights and has wide pathways.
If you exit through Exit 4 of Yeomchang Station and head down, you'll find the market. The market is well-organized and clean, and it has a dumpling shop that stays open until 2 a.m.—my go-to spot! There are also plenty of other food options like fried chicken, pork cutlets, and twisted doughnuts.
As you walk past the market and continue straight, you'll come across a delicious noodle shop. Since there's an elementary school nearby, the area is a designated children's safety zone, and cars drive slowly, ensuring safety. In the mornings, school traffic safety officers help students cross the street safely. Even at night, the neighborhood feels safe and welcoming.
