Home away from home. Very spacious and super clean. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. 5 minutes from shopping center. 15 minutes from shopping mall. Private on premise parking. Wi-Fi, very large kitchen.

The home was perfect for our stay, was in town for the Ryder Cup with friends and it worked out great. Short drive to the Long Island Railroad(use it when you can, easy and cheap). Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and almost anything you can need in Selden. Host was quick with communications.

House is pretty nice. Place was clean, beds were clean. Could have offered more comforts of home like more than 2 thin pillows for beds. Not having any soap for dishwasher. Just minor things like that. Would have liked to have had access to a washer and drier. House was pretty much as pictured but back yard doesn’t look nearly as inviting as the photos. Cameras everywhere outside around the house was a little strange. They come on like a spot light when you walk outside. Biggest issue for us was there was broken glass outside the back door and we have 2 kids under 4. Host knew we were traveling with children so that was unfortunate. Ease of check in and out was good. Overall not too bad. Needed a place to sleep and it served it’s purpose.

This is a beautiful 3BR 2 bath house. In a quiet, safe and convenient residential neighborhood. Like most Long Island houses, not really a beach stay, but ocean beaches are accessable...30 or so minute drive. House is very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen too. With a large screen TV in the living area. All smart TVs with access to streaming apps. All rooms have mini split A/C units...which is great for temperature comfort and quietness. Owner Shawn is extremely responsive to communication. For me...this is extremely important. A couple of nitpicky things. There's no true master bedroom...meaning no master suite bathroom. The two bathrooms are in the hallways. Bedroom doors stick a little and dont easily close all the way. And backyard could use some sprucing up...TLC type stuff. But overall...a very happy and comfortable stay.

Family Reunion

The interior of the property was exceptionally clean and well presented. It is close to shopping and located in a nice and safe neighborhood as well as being close to relatives we were visiting. Also, it is within a short drive to the Ronkonkoma LIRR station, which we took into the city too visit the 911 Museum.

Nice little house

Very nice kitchen with everything you might need, bedrooms are cozy with working A/C which was important for us during our stay as it was hot, hot, hot. Still needs a few upgrades as a few things in the house are unfinished. Shower doors in upstairs bathroom are rickety and almost coming off the rails as an example. Backyard is nice but needs some patio furniture . We were overall satisfied with our stay.

Long Island Stay

The house has a great kitchen but some of the house was not finished- such as no railing for the staircase and other details (wood trim, exposed electric in ceiling). Bathrooms need to be much cleaner. The bathtub upstairs was not suitable to bathe a child. With all of that said, we were only there to sleep and all turned out. The house when completed could be excellent. The host is a great host. Better cleaning service, finishing the house, and other details such as clean sponges for kitchen cleaning, better and adequate number of towels for the guests would be great. I would love to use this house again if some upgrades are added - I will be visiting LI a lot.

Large, Beautiful Home

The house was very spacious. The living room was comfortable and inviting, allowing our family to hang out and talk for hours. The large dining room table was perfect for our nightly meals and card games. The kitchen was HUGE, and the pans, appliances, and dishes provided allowed us to make several meals there. The host was very responsive to our communication and requests, getting back to us within minutes of me emailing him. We felt very safe staying at this location. We will definitely try to book this home again if we return to Long Island.

Home during family graduation

Property was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Cold, bottled water was available in the refrigerator when we arrived. We could not find a toaster, but the kitchen was otherwise outfitted with everything we needed. Host was friendly and readily available.
