「The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.」

古い建物なので少々防音に問題はあるが、許容範囲内。
夏休みのピークシーズンでクリーニングサービスなどは臨時のスタッフが多かったのだろうが、訓練がよくい聞き届いていないように感じられた。レストランのスタッフも口の聞き方など横柄（ホスピタリティビジネスの意味を理解していない）。フロント以上のスタッフは問題なし。
朝食はまあまあ、夕食（３コースメニュー、コーヒー・紅茶つき）はお得感がある。メインは実物を見ながら選べるので安心 。町はリゾート地としてきれいにまとまっていて、干潟沿いの、Promenadeからの景色がよい。
Very relaxing lounge. I liked the hotel and therefore extended my stay to 3 nights. A little problem with services: I guess that a lot of temporary help were employed for the peak season, e.g. cleaning...

My only 2 relative negatives, food service stopped at 7.30pm and via my wife, the ladies loos were up a fairly step staircase, and there was no accessible loo for folks with limited mobility 」

All rooms on first floor so could be an issue if you have mobility problems
Royal hotel bar/ restaurant quite busy so would recommend booking if you want to dine in. Food quality was excellent and a great service given.
Decent size car park across the road, always found a space to park even when it was busy in the bar

「Did a quick 1 night stop over. Would stay here again staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of entertainment on all day and a band on in the evening. Food was very good and breakfast as you would expect. Even the price was ok 」

家族経営で始まったホテルのようですが、とてもよかったです。スタッフも親切で、朝食も十分でした。高速道路からすぐのところにあり、湖水地方訪問のために二泊しました。ガソリンスタンド、コンビニのようなお店、カフェテリアがすぐそばにあり、ドリンクやサンドイッチなども買えます。ホテルのBarではドリンクの他にハンバーガーやサンドイッチも頂くことができます。」
「Really good stay, staff are always really helpful, room clean and comfortable. Sometimes the wifi can drop but it's manageble with working. Rooms nearby were quiet noisy this time, I've stayed before and never heard anyone, all was quiet by midnight and a good nights sleep. Overall recommend, lovely location and great value, thank you team」
