"The "innkeeper" John could not have been more accommodating or helpful during my brief stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I enjoyed my stay so much I would go back to Schenectady just to stay there again. I can't wait until the restaurant downstairs opens- it is such a cozy and welcoming place. The coffee shop in the lobby is bright and warm (and the coffee and cheese scones are excellent!) This is the opposite of staying in a chain hotel. All calm and charm. Thanks for a lovely stay, John. "

"All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful, however Casey provided especially attentive service, going above and beyond to make sure we were aware of all the services and amenities the hotel has to offer. We very much enjoyed our swim in the pool before dinner and the entire facility is one of the classiest I have ever stayed in. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Albany, NY."

"This place is several very large cuts above a typical Hampton Inn. It’s large and beautiful with a restaurant and full bar. The staff is truly extraordinary - friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about hospitality. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring Saratoga. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance, but it’s a few blocks off of Broadway and Caroline St, therefore much quieter than other hotels. "
