Honeymoon Haven

Jennifer went above & beyond making our honeymoon stay special with extra touches of fresh flowers from her garden waiting for us on the table with a bottle of chilled wine & even balloons on the bedposts! The cottage & property were beautiful as described in the listing. We especially enjoyed the covered porch, the chickens & wildlife. The location was perfect if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay with easy driving to Savannah, Tybee Island & surrounding attractions.

Serene cottage

Lovely little getaway spot

Cozy little cottage just as pictured. Very clean and well maintained. Located adjacent to the owner’s property. Beautiful live oaks with Spanish moss, gardens and even chickens who supply some delish eggs! Quiet atmosphere away from the city. We’ll be back hopefully next spring! Property owner/manager very kind and helpful! Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Cozy cabin

Absolutely amazing! Pristine, serene and beautifully landscaped. Traveled to Savannah for a tournament and found this gem. Owner Jennifer Jo is very hospitable and helpful for any and every need. Property was inmaculate on a side quiet street. My teen son walked in and remarked, “this is the kind of house I want one day”- that is the best kind of review in itself. Stocked with books for added enjoyment. Will definitely be staying for all future tournaments in Savannah- if I can beat my friends first to the booking. Thank you for providing such a nice option on vrbo.

Quaint little property

A very unique property. Very cute. Clean and well decorated. Quiet. There are chickens on site from which you can collect fresh eggs (but no roosters thank goodness!). I'd say it would be a bit small for a family, but perfect for two adults.

Adorable cottage

The cottage was just as described. This was our fourth time staying there and we love staying there when we’re in Savannah. It’s just perfect for our family of three. Very clean, everything we need was provided, very easy communication with owner. Will definitely stay again.

I felt transported iback in time to more peaceful days. It was a beautiful place.

The hostess was very kind and available. I love the setting, and I enjoyed the extra benefit of having chickens nearby and enjoying a few fresh eggs, they were willing to give. Everything was nice, it wasn’t new, but it was so comfortable that I felt welcome and at ease and it is exactly what I needed.

Cozy, Charming, Convenient Cottage... with Chickens!

This cozy cottage was conveniently located to restaurants, stores and Downtown Savannah. The homeowner was so accommodating and communicative, even going out of her way to share website links to her favorite local restaurants. We went to two of her recommended locations and they were both delicious. The Cottage was extremely clean and absolutely charming. The friendly chickens and fresh eggs were a wonderful addition. We would be glad to stay in this lovely Cottage in Savannah again.

Peaceful

This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to escape after a day of touring Savannah. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine or coffee in the morning makes everything okay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the fresh eggs, coffee, and big comfy bed.

Hooray for the Stay!

Hooray for the Stay at The Cottage! As a seasoned traveller of 50+ years, this was one of the best venues I have experienced. The cottage and its environs are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. Jennifer was super hospitable and accessible for questions or advice about the property or anything else we needed. The house has comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen and laundry on site. Great place on a quiet street!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage! My wife, son (18 months), and I stayed here for a week over Christmas. My wife is from Savannah and we were there visiting family around the corner for the holidays. It felt like home and we appreciated using the space over the holidays. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent choice for Savannah.

We rented this property for my sons shotgun tournament this weekend. We stayed an extra day to spend in Savannah sightseeing. This property was very clean. Jennifer was excellent and available for any needs. We hope to return soon.

Great Savannah getaway

We rented the cottage for our first ever visit to Savannah and enjoyed it immensely. Close enough to Tybee and Historical Downtown Savannah without being in the crowds. The cottage had everything we needed and was just right for our family of 4. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

Our new home away from home in SAV

Our family has absolutely fallen in love with this little cottage. From the first time we entered to locking the door behind us this morning we have had the most delightful experience. Jennifer, the owner, has created the most welcoming place to rest and retreat close to the action but also away from the noise. Our youngest daughter intentionally chose this cottage for our last few days together before officially moving into her dorm at SCAD. She was drawn to its location nestled under live oak trees with Spanish moss hanging, a front porch to spend time together, and a beautifully landscaped chicken coup where you can gather your own fresh eggs. The cottage is immaculate, and it’s age gives it the sweetest character. Fresh flowers on the kitchen table, an abundant selection of books, a Brita water pitcher in the fridge, staple items in the cabinets, and a supplied coffee station are just a few of the many details Jennifer graciously provides. Communication with her was very easy. We look forward to returning again and again over the next three years to visit our girl. Jennifer’s cottage is the home away from home we are so thankful to have found in Savannah!!!
