" House built in 1864 was in a nice neighborhood close to Forsyth Park and Bull Street for walking to downtown. Friendly staff, clean, quiet and they served a good breakfast."

"I loved the old world charm & the decor. The breakfast & dessert nacks were delicious. The staff were awesome (Gary & Dwayne). The room was very clean & nicely decorated. What I did not like was the noise that you can hear (beautiful tall windows but not sound proof). I also was a little uncomfortable being asked if I wanted to leave a tip after check out. This was totally new & so unsure so I declined. Not because the staff was not great, just caught me off guard. Perhaps some pre warning...

"We had an amazing anniversary vacation at the McMillan Inn in Savannah! The area in town was beautiful and felt very safe, even at night. We were more than comfortable walking around and everything was very close. The room we stayed in, the Drayton room, was gorgeous. The rest of the Inn was beautiful and the breakfasts were wonderful. The proprietors were warm and welcoming, and helpful in all ways possible. We would not hesitate to stay again when we when next visit Savannah!! "

"OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. The very elegant room I stayed...

"My wife, our baby, and I enjoyed this property. The location is great! Can be loud occasionally at night, and it only has street parking that is payment required, but to be in the city in your own flat. It's great! Easy to walk around the city. Loved using the amenities to make food, wash clothes. We were able to relax when it's raining or we're tired. Very nice space as well, with exposed brick and quality furniture pieces. "
