「Neat place with tons of character and charm.」

「Very pleasantly surprised by the hotel! Would definitely stay there again. Helpful staff, very clean and great quality food. We dined at the rooftop restaurant and bar! Well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. The only request would be to have better pillows. Other than that the stay was wonderful!」

However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it.」

「Perfect location, terrible property. The historic nature of it is cool, but still disappointed by what we experienced here. Staff was decent, Mack the night attendant was the best. The chef who won them a couple Michelin Plates (stars for hotels) is no longer employed here, and they no longer offer dinner service at all. This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”....

「The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

「The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

「The hotel definitely has a lot of charm and character, and the property itself is very cute and unique. However, the soundproofing was a major issue — I could clearly hear conversations and even someone talking on the phone in another room. The amenities also felt worn out, with cheap towels and areas that could really use upgrades and refreshing. Overall, it has potential and charm, but in my opinion it does not meet the standard of a true 4-star hotel.」

「Staff was amazing. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had a rental car but really did not need due to location and shuttle service available」

「Everyone was very helpful, from the valet to the front desk and the restaurant wait staff. We had a problem with the television and the balcony door. We went out for the day and both were fixed when we got back. The balcony door had a reoccurring issue, but we reported it only once. Having a room facing the river was a plus. It was very enjoyable to watch the freighters and other river traffic. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.」

「This was the most lack luster HIE we ever stayed in. We generally like them. It seems a bit sad and the layout of the bathroom wasn’t great. The fridge couldn’t be adjusted and things kept freezing. The staff were very courteous and helpful.」
