When you stay at a bed and breakfast, you're paying for some individual attention, and at the Inn on West Liberty, I got what I paid for. The hosts were warm and friendly and took the time to get to know their guests; they were also extremely helpful. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient to the restaurants, shops, and landmarks around Savannah. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity came.

Beautiful old house with great furnishings. Enjoyed excellent breakfasts and wine and appetizer social hours. Centrally located. Patty and Suzy were great hostesses. We would definitely come back the next the next time we visit Savannah.

Two complaints: elevator too small or else you have to go upstairs with luggage. If you need to cancel for health reasons, forget it! They will not accept anything not even a heart cath for reason for refund or to just reschedule. Staff was very accommodating but owner was very rude. Nice Inn but would not likely stay there again for the two reasons I mentioned.

K. 1/5 zojuist op Google The hosts were very nice and friendly at the arrival (the but comes later). The room is nice and clean and the beautiful building is located on a great street. This is all dominated though by the unbearable noise of the airconditioning unit, which is directly bolted to the roof of the Lafayette room, making the walls and bed vibrate. After this the hosts were not so friendly anymore when we were disatisfied and they were inconsistent in the solutions offered, i.e. their own solutions were taken of the table. The solutions offered were not to satisfaction and we have not agreed. The bathtub is clogged and so was the drain od the sink, and other defect in the room related to overdue maintenance. Which adds further to the disapointment. When counting on an early breakfast - it is only served starting from 8:30. All in all it is the worst overnight experience we have ever had and we have been very surprised about the unwillingness to give any compensation for the bad experience. We were very surprised by all the good reviews...I hope this is a warning for other potential guest (pick something else).

I Could Live Here

I absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I took one room and my Mom took the one next to us. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. There's an intercom you can turn on to play ambient music; it was on when we walked in and it just made the arrival so relaxing. The young woman who checked us in was probably the sweetest person I have ever met in my life with the most relaxing voice. The inn smelled amazing, because they had just finished baking cookies. What a magical place is this! I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! We had a lovely talk with the owner a bit about the history of the inn and how she became involved; it was such a lovely chat. I felt like a welcomed guest in her beautiful home. The breakfasts were delicious too! If I HAD to complain about something it would be that you can hear everyone's footsteps and movements, especially at night. But what do you expect? It's an old house! The rooms even had a sound machine, so just turn that on and you'll have no problem sleeping through the guests clonking their heels above you. Truly, it was a wonderful experience and I was sad to leave. I will be back!

Very beautiful property. Has a very historic 1800s feeling to it. Our stay was amazing. The inn keeper was very hospitable. They served amazing breakfasts every morning. Highly recommend!

We can't say enough about how wonderful The Inn on West Liberty is. Patty is such a wonderful host, the breakfast is so yummy, the room and inn are gorgeous, and we loved visiting with Sidney the pup every day. The location is central and easy walking distance to the east and west side of Savannah. We loved our stay!

The Inn is beautiful and in a perfect place to walk around Savannah. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The hosts were friendly and helpful with suggestions and even made reservations for us. I would highly reccomend this Inn for a visit to Savannah.

Book this stay as soon as possible! The Inn on West Liberty provided the best accommodations, service, and hospitality that I have ever experienced.
