"We stayed in August 2026 and while the weather was hot, the pool was refreshing. The property is beautiful and fully equipped.The hosts Ray and Sonja are lovely, and were helpful providing a ride to the grocery store and guiding us towards other activities.Unfortunately, the power went out for some of our stay, due to an underground transmission cable fire. However, the hosts were attentive to the problems we experienced and provided Atlantis day passes for our family while the power was out.Saunders beach is nice for a walk at sunset, but we preferred to spend our time at the pool or exploring Nassau. Sonja’s mom, Juanita lives next door and gave us fresh avocados from her tree.The neighborhood has a local feel, some of the nearby houses appear to be under construction. It’s outside of the hosts’ control, but we heard lots of dogs barking at all hours during our stay- so bring ear plugs just in case.It’s easy to walk down the block to the main road and catch a taxi or jitney into town.We didn’t need a rental car."

"Cleanliness-8: Property was very clean; pictures on VRBO site accurately represent the rooms. Communication-9: They reached out prior to arrival to make sure we were all set and to provide information for check in. We appreciated recommendations for local taxi drivers they have used. They were also very responsive to our questions whenever we asked for information both before the stay and during. The property owner also stopped in to check on things a couple of times throughout the week. Check In-9: The property owner made this process pretty seamless for us. Location-7: Good but one thing we came to realize pretty quickly was that the Bahamas caters to the cruise ships and people staying at BahaMar and/or Atlantis. Many local restaurants/businesses close down around 6 except for ones located at those two resorts. The location is a short 5 min walk to Saunders Beach. There are no chairs to rent at that beach so you must have your own towels/chairs if you want to lay on the beach. If you go somewhere, you must walk, drive or take a taxi, which for 6 people was roughly 30-40 one way. Accuracy-8: Listing pretty close to actual property. Our one disappointment was beach chairs. There are several beach loungers by the pool although a couple need repair but there are none to take over to the beach. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans.Value-7: Property met our needs and provided good value. Wi-Fi speed/bandwidth not sufficient for 6 people."

"I can't say enough good things about our stay at Blessings. First of all - the place itself was perfect; very clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed to make ourselves fully at home including a stocked kitchen for cooking. Ample room for lounging in the living room, and the pool area was lovely. The location was excellent - a two minute walk to the beach, a short walk to convenience stores, and a five minute bus ride to the fish fry, Junkanoo Beach, etc. Lastly - Ravi and Vydia were INCREDIBLE hosts - they were communicative, check in and out process was so easy, and they accommodated our requests for dropping off luggage early and a late check out. They truly went above and beyond.Will definitely stay here again if I return to Nassau and highly recommend to others! "
