We stayed at the Goldwynn in Nassau before boarding our liveaboard, and it was one of the most relaxing hotel stays we’ve had in the Bahamas. Unlike the big resort properties, the Goldwynn feels calm, intimate, and refined. The beach is peaceful and never crowded, and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a perfect place to decompress after traveling. It feels much more like a boutique luxury hotel than a cruise-ship terminal on land. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable, with great ocean views. The whole property has a modern, understated elegance that makes it easy to relax the moment you arrive. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everything just worked, which after a long travel day really matters. If you want a quiet, upscale, oceanfront stay in Nassau that feels far removed from the chaos of downtown or Paradise Island, Goldwynn is an excellent choice.

Outstanding property with scenic ocean view but what separates this place from any other ocean view hotel is the food and the service. We had most of our meals during a one week stay here because it was so good - from the stone crabs, the mussels, the Korean galbi dish which was outstanding, the red snapper special, the prawns, and the desserts - all amazing! Also, the service was so good especially our servers Jessica and Ashley, as well as the manager who worked out an arrangement for us to partake in the turkey special on Thanksgiving despite being only a party of two. The staff at the pool and front desk were all fantastically attentive as well as the coffee bar where I would start my day each morning after a visit to their state of the art gym. Highly recommend for this smaller yet exclusive property!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel was spotless from top to bottom — everything felt so clean and well taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing (we honestly looked forward to every meal), and the beach and pool areas were just perfect — crystal-clear water, soft sand, and breathtaking views of the turquoise Bahamian ocean. I absolutely loved this resort! We had room service delivered to our room & everyone is so nice! The restaurants a bit pricey but the food is great especially breakfast ☺️ i recommend staying here if you’d like some peace & quiet.
