"The hotel was so clean that it looked like it was new. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"La Quinta is hit or miss but this was awful. I got this because it was cheap, had a pool and I wanted to get away from the construction at my own house. Turns out they are doing major renovations here! There was so much noise in the lobby me and the reception had to pass notes back and forth because we couldn't hear eachother. Plastic all over the hallway carpet so I could hear every step when people passed. My door didn't lock and no one came to look at it. My fridge clicked very loud every time the compressor kicked on so I just unplugged it. There was at least 4 smoke detectors chirping in the hallway, the wifi kicked off every few hours so I had to keep connecting the TV... and the pool was closed! They should've shut this place down during construction. Typically if a place is bad I just won't review but someone needs to see this. Ill never stay in a La Quinta ever again. Sure this is why they won't let you refund"

"This property was disappointing from the moment we arrived. I booked it because it appeared to be a reasonably priced option for my family and me while attending a concert, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, I was immediately concerned about the surrounding area. The neighborhood did not feel particularly safe, and there were numerous rough-looking individuals on and around the property. As someone traveling with family, this was not the welcoming or comfortable environment I had hoped for. Things only got worse once we entered our room. Within minutes, the cover of the air conditioning unit unexpectedly fell off the wall, startling my wife and creating a terrible first impression. The air conditioner itself was also problematic—it was stuck at a cold temperature and could not be adjusted. We requested additional blankets from the staff, but they never arrived. Cleanliness was another major issue. The room appeared to have received only the most superficial cleaning. There were sticky spots on the floor, hair throughout the room, and an overall lack of attention to detail that made the space feel neglected and unsanitary. Getting any rest was nearly impossible. Between barking dogs, loud conversations, and people partying throughout the night, there was constant noise for the duration of our stay. What should have been a place to relax and recharge became a source of frustration and discomfort. The one bright spot was the host"

"Fire alarms went off about 7:40 am. Not a single hotel employee told people to get out, nor did anyone inform people what was going on. Everyone went outside standing there not knowing what in the heck is going on. I went and found a staff member (kitchen worker) she had no idea what was going on. People saw a firetruck go to the other side of the hotel and assumed they were leaving. So everyone went back inside the hotel without any knowledge of the problem. I went looking for a staff member again couldn’t find anyone. Had to go ask the firefighters if it was okay to which I was told it wasn’t a fire, rather a broken water line that was flooding the building. I understand this was a freak accident however NOT INFORMING YOUR GUEST OR MAKING SURE THEY GOT OUT OF THE BUILDING IS SIMPLY BULL CRAP. they clearly had ZERO training in the event of a Fire alarm going off. The safety of others was NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL. I will not stay here again, and want refunded for our stay. Major safety issues and violations."
