Would have been 5 stars except…

First off, the apartment was cute and in an AMAZING location. Clean inside and well stocked for 3/4 people to stay. A few things however lowered my rating. 1) door codes, these things are WAY to long. 2 doors with 8 digits each is out of this world long. You could never leave without a phone. Note this also would limit me recommending this place to people who are older…to much of a struggle. Most VRBOs i stay at…codes are 4 digits. 2) the outdoor area is not real inviting or set to use. Outdoor furniture not set up and much of it is dirty. 3) woodpecker lives in the window…there was tapping each day for long periods of time…not real ideal when ready for downtime. 4) our towels were taken buy the cleaning crew when other apt had checked out. I put towels in wash in morning, to dry when we returned to find them missing. Left a note in our apartment to advise cleaning.

Wonderful location

Our family had an awesome vacation at this location! It was a very short walk to the beach and had all the amenities that we needed. It was very clean and had new appliances. The beds very comfortable, including the pull out sofa bed. We have no complaints!

Great location / Spacious Stay - Needs Better Finishings

We were only there 3 days so it worked out fine. On the positive side, great location, spacious, clean and thoughtfully appointed. The shower was excellent. On the negative. No washer / dryer. Wouldn’t work for us for a longer stay. Master bed was old and creaked every time you turned. The towels and sheets were old and the sheets had pills. The kitchen table was not stable, very cheap. The quality of the construction and furniture left a lot to be desired. Again, worked for a short stay, but would have been difficult if we were staying for a week and cooking in the unit.

Great place

Me and my friend stayed at the condo with our kids for a memorial weekend and had a great time. The place has everything for cooking and plenty of towels/bed linens. The washer/dryer is shared with the upstairs unit. The place is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and 20 minutes walk from restaurants/shopping in old Venice (the parallel street is very beautiful for walking to the town with large trees and lots of shade). The street is very quiet (the town itself is quiet and pleasant).

Two blocks from Venice beach

This was a perfect little condo for my family of 3. Close to the beach. Convenient location to grocery and such. Communication with rental agency wasn’t the best but other than that it was a great stay. I would stay again:)

Great location!

Easy walk to the beach and the activities on the beach. Nice walk to town. The home is old, but has been renovated. Kitchen is bright and well-stocked with pots and pans, two coffee makers, plates, etc. Furniture in living room is even newer than in the pictures. We enjoyed being on the first floor with access to the patio and grill. Quiet area.

In a great location,walking distance of everywhere.

Enjoyef our stay but property wasnt ready until 35 minutes after check in time and we had to sit outside.No dishwasher tablets and agreement stated that all utensils need to be washed and put away.

Incredibly convenient location base for your Venice adventures!

This duplex was located less than two block from the beautiful Venice Beach. It was a VERY quick walk down to the beach access from the circular driveway in front of the unit. It is also centrally located only 10-20 minute drives from some other spectacular area beaches. Our favorites were Caspersen Beach & Nokomis Beach. My daughter found ~50 petrified shark teeth at Caspersen using just a $1 strainer and a scoop purchased from the local Dollar Store. Sunsets and boogie boarding were best near the North Jetty on Nokomis Beach. The local contact, Justin, was responsive via cell for any questions we had about the area or the unit. PS: The shared laundry is located at the top of the stairs, I had to ask when we could not find it :)

280 Steps to the beach!!!

As soon as we opened the door there was a strong musty smell. Kitchen faucet was very lose, drywall in bathroom messed up, windows and blinds filthy, window latches were inoperable, mattress was old and soft so I had back pains. Better suited for young adults. Replaced a kitchen drain cap. Still waiting for my security deposit to be returned

Nice trip to Venice

The property was in a great location. It was adequate for the time we were there. The kitchen was well stocked With cookware and dishes. We had to leave early because of the virus. Restaurant, beaches and stores were closing down. We are little disappointed that we aren’t being compensate by VRBO.

Location is fantastic!

This apartment is very close to the beach! Accessing keys in lock box was difficult - we arrived late and found it tough to see the codes. Had to ask where the washer and dryer were located. Wireless network access information was not inside the unit as we were initially told it would be. Watch your email - managers use it to communicate. Beach gear was greatly appreciated.
