「What a great spot if you want quiet and tranquility, the view was spectacular. Went for a nice walk in the morning along the bluff not a place to go if you do not have a car or don’t bring groceries with you. It’s a bit far out that is what I loved about it. 」

「Great location - peaceful, tranquil and walkable to the town. Rooms are a little old and could use some upgrades, but was comfortable. They offer towels for going to the thermal pools. Breakfast was standard continental.」

「Our stayed was delightful. Staff are very helpful and friendly, location is good if you have a car. A big supermarket is just down the street, also the food at the terrace was pretty good, I had a steak and it was delicious, including cocktails. I will come back here again for sure」

「Een nieuw hotel met ruime kamers. heerlijk rustig hij het zwembad. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt prima ,wel iedere dag hetzelfde . Eenmaal diner gedaan in het hotel. Zeer lekker gegeten. Naar het centrum van ponta delgado is net te ver om iedere avond te wandelen. Een auto is dan wel een must. Al met al een goede uitvalsbasis om het eiland te bezichtigen . 「The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. Very clean location, this is the town that I was born and as always people are very nice and will go out of their ways to make people welcome. 」

「Our stay at Octant Furnas was simply amazing. The setting of being surrounded by garden made us feel super relaxed and was extremely peaceful. All the staff were super welcoming and attentive. 「The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.」

「Wir waren als Paar im Senhora da Rosa und hatten eine großartige Zeit. Das Hotel ist wunderschön, ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Frühstück war top, das Restaurant sehr empfehlenswert. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Pool im alten Gewächshaus – einzigartig! Das Personal ist herzlich und professionell.
