"This was an amazing rental. The house is quite large with 3 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and a large living are on the main level. It was very well equipped for dining in and everything was in working order. There is a beautiful large terrace facing the ocean where you can also relax and eat. The beach is only a 2 minute walk and the host even provided beach towels. The location is good but expect to do some traveling to the popular sight seeing areas. The island is small enough though to get around easily. We loved our stay at this beautiful home. "

I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelli ng to Sao Miguel. Easy place to get to from the airport and puts you right in the center of the island. "We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future."
