"The extra touches… fruit basket when I arrived, daily treats delivered to room before supper, incredible food, especially fish dish with banana. The ocean saltwater pools, sun deck with service next to heated pool … staff very kind and friendly, they treated me like a king. The view and rhythmic gentle crashing of wave on the cliff below. The sunrise and sunset here is … calming to soul. Very clean and kept resort. Flowers and grass. Close to airport and town is just a short walk Highly recommend this resort. "

"What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."

"All meals were very good, food was replenished before it was needed so it was always fresh. There was always a good variety, and it seemed to have a good variety of vegan options (I am not vegan). Drinks were served in smallish glasses but they use quality alcohol. No waitstaff in at the pool or in the bar, but that may have been because of the time of year. Our room was clean and spacious with a very large balcony and a great shower and very comfortable beds. Rooms were cleaned early in the day. A couple days before arrival I received an email th check in. During the process you are asked the time of arrival. We were arriving at 8:30 am we got to the resort and our rooms were ready and waiting for us! They have a free shuttle to take you to Funchal 3 times a day. The hotel is beautiful, the pool area is huge and well maintained. Highly recommend anyone to stay here."

"Excellent hotel stay I had in recent Years. Best location. Lovely sea view Rooms. Superb swimming pool spa facilities. Lovely staff at every point of your stay. Excellent Breakfast varieties, good affordable restaurant for lunch time. Great dinner buffet options. Great location and lot to explore by walking around the Hotel, if you are looking to stay away from Funchal main city centre this is the one. Hardly 10 min drive or €13 euro Bolt Taxi to the Funchal city, € 9 Bolt taxi to the airport. Lot of Madiera experience tour pick up options from the Hotel. Definitely I would recommend this for any family. Loads of Kids playing options. Who ever opts in this Hotel would not regret it. Thank you again The View Oasis Hotel staff for making our stay lovely memorable one. We would definitely would come back again…"
